"Between construction and deconstruction of the body, creating meanings and relations through dynamic movement"
The aim of this work is to connect the study of dance technique to the expressive power of movement. During the lessons the students will be confronted both with a lyrical and poetic dance, and with dynamic projection of the body into space. For Ricky Bonavita the study of dance is matched to a work on interpretation and communication as essential skills for a dancer and a complete artist. https://vimeo.com/81901093(avautuu uudessa ikkunassa)
Ricky Bonavita is professor of modern and contemporary dance technique at the Accademia Nazionale Danza in Rome/Italy and guest teacher in European universities. The goal is to directly experiment the methodology on which teaching children is based while learning it, in a participatory and non-judgmental environment. In this brief project the final objective will be a basic knowledge of the psychological and biomechanical characteristics of children aged 6 to 8 years.”
