Entrance and doors

The ITAK stage has barrier-free access via a gentle ramp.

The outer door is approximately 93 cm wide, and the inner door is approximately 83 cm wide. The outer door opens outward and is heavy.

Inside, there are no thresholds between rooms. From the foyer to the stage area, there is a wide passage through the accordion door on the left.

Wheelchair-accessible seats in the audience

Our auditorium has two wheelchair-accessible seats. Please reserve a wheelchair-accessible seat in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements to keep the seat available by emailing itak(at)itak.fi.

Accessible restrooms

Our facility has a spacious, accessible restroom in the public lobby.

Accessible parking

The nearest accessible parking lot is located next to the Kuopio Adult Education Center, on the other side of Suokatu. For the time being, you can also drive directly to the front of the ITAK Theater.
