The mission of the Regional Dance Centre of Eastern Finland (ITAK) is to support the vitality and development of professional dance art in Eastern Finland and to strengthen the role and significance of dance art throughout its region.

Strategic Focus

Throughout the entire strategy period, the main focus of activities is to support Eastern Finnish dance art in a time of cultural and political transformation.

In particular, ITAK will promote:
