Rent the space

The ITAK Stage (formerly Sotku) is ideally suited for dance, theater, music concerts, and other performing arts. The venue has also successfully hosted parties, meetings, raves, workshops, and other public events. The venue has a maximum capacity of 137 people.

Working Groups of the Freelance Dance Community

Rehearsals
€5 (incl. vat) per hour of rehearsal time
€90 (incl. vat) for a 3-month extended membership, which entitles the member to use the stage on an hourly basis and the kitchen for the duration of the extended membership

What does renting the ITAK stage include?

The rental fee includes the use of the ITAK stage and the venue’s performance equipment, as well as the services of a technical manager. The rental does not include the technical manager’s planning work or ticket sales, catering, or lobby attendant services.

The daily rental period is a maximum of 7 hours per day. The rental period begins when the venue doors open and ends when the building closes.

Any hours exceeding the rental period will be billed at €25 per hour.

Making a reservation

If you would like to reserve the ITAK stage for rehearsals or your event, please contact the ITAK producer or fill out the quote request form. Please keep in mind the general holiday periods when contacting us.

Before making a reservation, you can check the ITAK Stage availability calendar to see if the space is available during your desired time.

Cleaning the stage

The rental fee for the space does not include cleaning services. The tenant is responsible for cleaning the space after the event or for any cleaning fee if professional cleaning services are required after the rental period.

Light maintenance cleaning of the space is performed twice a week on weekday mornings on behalf of the Regional Dance Center of Eastern Finland.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations must be made no later than 2 months before the rental date. Cancellations made after this date will be charged half of the agreed rental price.

Preliminary reservations must be confirmed no later than 3 months (92 days) before the rental date. If a preliminary reservation is not confirmed, the reservation will expire.
