The activities of the Regional Dance Center of Eastern Finland are managed by an association called Tanssitaiteen tuki ry. The purpose of the association is to provide support for the promotion and development of professional dance art in Eastern Finland.
Tanssitaiteen tuki ry consists of individuals and organizations that wish to support ITAK’s activities and benefit from the association’s membership privileges. The members elect the association’s chairperson and board annually at their fall meeting.

Become a member
The association’s board approves new members upon application. Tanssitaiteen tuki ry accepts as members dance professionals, amateurs, and professionals from other fields who agree to abide by the association’s rules.
Submit your membership application by email to itak(at)itak.fi. The application must include the applicant’s name, address, city of residence, profession, and a brief description of their involvement in the dance scene in Eastern Finland.
Membership fee
The individual membership fee for 2026 is €20.
The organizational membership fee for 2026 is €110.
You will receive an invoice for the membership fee via email once your membership application has been processed at a board meeting. Membership is valid until the end of the calendar year in which the membership fee is paid.

- Reduced rehearsal space rental fee (€5 per hour) for individual hours at the ITAK stage

Additional membership
An additional membership grants the right to use the ITAK Stage kitchen facilities and the stage’s available individual hours for work. Additional memberships are purchased for three months at a time. The price of an additional membership is €30/month.
