The Lonely in the Rain Festival is a dance event in Joensuu for artists from Eastern Finland, across the country, and around the world. Every November, Lonely in the Rain presents a high-quality and diverse overview of contemporary dance.
The festival’s main sponsors are the The Finnish Arts and Culture Agency and the City of Joensuu.
