13:30–14:45 Breaking workshop
Learn basics within toprock, footwork/downrock, godowns and tricks. We focus on musicality, body control, freestyle and creativity. Come as you are whether you are new to breaking or have some experience. You will get tools for developing according to your level and experience. We dance to breaks, funk, hiphop and jazz.
15:00–16:30 Freestyle/floorwork
This class is divided in two parts and the first part contains grooves, footwork, co-ordination and freestyle/impro-exercises. In the second part we approach floor work from different perspectives with the goal set to incorporate it into whatever style you do. Basics within rolls, slides, level changes, handstand and dance acrobatics e.g. cartwheels, rainbows and Macaco. We also practice impro and creativity within floor.
No previous floor work training is required but a minimum of two years street dance experience is recommended.
